     Gas grills and stoves have become more popular, because you have more control over heat than open pit fires.  Gas grills also  cook a lot faster than charcoal and without all the waiting just to get started.  Our outdoor cooking products embrace those qualities while still holding on to the great tastes that only come from cooking in the outdoors.  With the even heating of our camp stoves and our seasoned Grills we believe we've been able to do that.

The Prospector Portable Camp Stove

There are four stove sizes available.

     The Prospector portable camp stoves were designed with quality and durability in mind.  They are constructed of steel, using the highest gauges necessary to withstand weight, heat, and travel.  These stoves are completely welded and bolted together, there are no spot welds or rivets.

     The idea of The Prospector  was to create a multiple use outdoor stove, with more even heating for our Grill'it camp skillets. They are now available with either a single tube burner or a dual burner system.  The single burner stoves are equipped with either a small or large tube burner.   Dual burner stoves come with a round burner and a tube burner.  The round burner provides a more concentrated heat source, which is great for Dutch Oven cooking, coffee pots, and deep fryers.  The tube burner side fits our skillets and produces a nice even heat across the entire pan surface.

     Our portable gas grills have several features which are helpful for camping.  The burners are semi enclosed, with sides and a bottom to block the wind.  However, there are holes in the bottom to allow air for the burner.  The legs fold and secure under for travel and storage, and remain attached so they can't be misplaced or left behind.  The gas tube on the side also doubles as a handle.

Prospector Portable Camp Stove - Small Single Tube Burner - 18 " Ht.

This stove is 20" long, 16" wide, and 6" deep, when the legs are folded.  It is equipped with a single 30,000 BTU/hr tube burner.  The cooking surface will accommodate either one Small or two Mini Grill'its.  Cooking height is approximately 18".

The price of the stove is $179.95.  A UL approved LP Regulator with Type 1 connector and 48" hose is included.  Since there is more than one possibility for use of skillets, they must be ordered separately.
